Tragedy

Where be these enemies?—Capulet! Montague!
See what a scourge is laid upon your hate,
That heaven finds means to kill your joys with love!
And I, for winking at your discords, too
Have lost a brace of kinsmen. All are punished.

For never was a story of more woe
Than this of Juliet and her Romeo.

Seeping back??

Traveling down the road in a car,

Where the problems were ringing again...

Depression starts setting in again,

Where the pain was becoming real again...

Am I seeping back into sadness?

Or have I lost your presence?

Or have I lost sight of you?

Or sorrows have invaded me again….

As the force of darkness began to invade me,

Another force was already at work within me..

Reminding me of Your goodness and love...

That You are always with me...

That you are in charge....

Though concerns were rounding through my mind,

I know that you are setting it in your time...

Though a sense of hurt were felt in my nerves,

I know that you are easing my pain with your love...

Though unforgiveness is still present in me,

I know that it will fade as you grace abound in me...

Father, you are my comfort and peace,

my counsellor when I am sad,

my companion when I am lonely,

my caregiver when I am sick..

Above all, Father you are my solution.....

TURN YOUR EYES UPON JESUS

Lyrics:
Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,
In the light of His glory and grace.

1.
O soul, are you weary and troubled?
No light in the darkness you see?
There’s a light for a look at the Savior,
And life more abundant and free!
2.
Through death into life everlasting
He passed, and we follow Him there;
Over us sin no more hath dominion—
For more than conquerors we are!

3.
His Word shall not fail you—He promised;
Believe Him, and all will be well:
Then go to a world that is dying,
His perfect salvation to tell!

Words & Music: Helen H. Lemmel, 1922

Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. -Hebrews 12:2
